The chord shapes you already use work great in Inverted Tuning. You can go deeper than that, obviously, but right out of the gate, a sweet balance between expectation and surprise is struck. On the other hand, soloing, if you just move your hand around like you’re used to doing, sounds almost comically disjointed. The harmonic bricks of gold stack up quick. Getting something melodically sweet from the tuning takes more work.
